From the moment we met Jonathan, with his warmth and friendliness, we knew she had found a caring, trustworthy caregiver for my mom. Yes, Jonathan was her speech therapist, but in the time he spent with her he went above and beyond for her. My mother has a neurodegenerative condition that has left her speech and movement severely impaired. As a result, many people quickly dismiss her. But not Jonathan. He came in and saw her as the smart, funny, stubborn woman she is and bonded with her. Despite the terrible odds against her, he never gave up on trying to find ways to improve my mom’s quality of life and her ability to communicate with others through therapy and devices. He would listen to her intently and make sure he understood what she wanted to say. She was so fond of him, her eyes lit up whenever he came to treat her. Additionally, he genuinely cared. He would let me or my sister know if he saw anything worrisome in the care she was receiving from aides or if he thought she might be depressed or in needs of anything. I highly recommend Jonathan and would not hesitate to work with him again if the need ever arose.”
